  • A fire broke out at Bistro Roca and Antler Bar yesterday at 3:55 p.m. (photos show heavy smoke) as local teams secured the scene and began an investigation.  WSOCTV.com

CULTURE NEWS

  • Jamie Brown, co-owner of Tonidandel‑Brown Restaurant Group, launched her debut memoir Eleven Tables on Thursday, Jan. 27. The book tells her journey from running a small dining room with 11 tables to managing six restaurant concepts serving 8,000 guests, while signings and local events will be announced soon.  WCNC
