- ➤ Gov. Josh Stein ordered flags lowered to half-staff at state facilities to honor civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, who died Tuesday (Feb. 17). The flags remain lowered from sunrise Feb. 19 until sunset Feb. 28. WCNC
- ➤ A North Carolina Court of Appeals ruled that the NCUC improperly approved Duke Energy Carolinas’ 2024 fuel rider rate by using costs beyond one year. Customers will not get a refund under a 2025 law, the Power Bill Reduction Act. WSOCTV.com
