The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte supports people with Down syndrome and their families by connecting new parents with mentors and offering programs such as summer camps and adult retreats — its Spring Fling Inclusive Dance is tomorrow and the Abilities Employment Symposium will be held on April 9. The association also hosts its 19th Annual Golf Tournament on May 9 to fund its camps.

The NC Department of Revenue began issuing state tax refunds on March 10 and had issued 530,000 refunds by the end of March.
