ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ At 9:15 a.m. Saturday, a serious crash on Hwy 73 near McGuire Nuclear Station Road killed one person and seriously injured another, closing one lane and slowing traffic in Lincoln County—officials are still investigating. Queen City News

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce will host a three-session candidate training program for citizens interested in public office (April 26, May 3 and May 17) at the Chamber and WSIC Radio in Cornelius. The program costs $120 per person, includes meals, and applications must be received by April 18. Lake Norman Publications
- ➤ Huntersville finished cleaning up the former Cashion’s gas station property after removing underground storage tanks and demolishing the building earlier this year—grass now grows on the lot.
