- ➤ The Caldwell Station Tributary Greenway is a 1.3 mile path that opened yesterday with a ribbon-cutting by Mayor Washam. - ➤ Huntersville police said a maintenance worker found a camera in a hotel bathroom near the pool at the Four Points by Sheraton near Interstate 77 on Tuesday — investigators are narrowing down suspects and do not believe a hotel worker planted it. WSOCTV.com
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Mecklenburg County Public Health partnered with Baby Bundles to offer $350 baby supply bundles for high-risk pregnant women that include essential clothing, diapers, wipes and vaccine education — the program will distribute more than 200 bundles this summer and plans to reach additional families by year-end. - ➤ Novant Health is using Vyalev—an FDA-approved device that slowly delivers medicine directly to the blood—to help people with Parkinson’s avoid taking pills many times a day. Dr. Robert Wiggins said the device, which changes into dopamine, makes it easier for patients like Lou Morris to manage their symptoms. WSOCTV.com
