➤ James Hotchner, a long-time coach in Huntersville's street hockey league, was injured in a crash with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 77 near exit 23 last week and is now hospitalized with severe injuries (13 broken ribs, a fractured back, and a blood clot in his neck) but remains determined to recover and contribute again.
