- ➤ FeedNC will run its Summer Hunger Food Drive from June 15 to 19 to collect 15,000 pounds of food and $40,000 for families missing school meals. - ➤ Local farmers are celebrating recent rain as fresh produce fills area markets. Huntersville Growers’ Market runs Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon through Aug. 29 at 201 Huntersville-Concord Road — other markets in Cornelius, Davidson and Lincoln County also offer seasonal picks along with SNAP programs.
