➤ Lake Norman police and fire rescue teams now use the what3words app — a tool that divides the area into 3 by 3 meter squares — to pinpoint emergency locations for boaters and hikers. ➤ North Mecklenburg Village Rider bus route, which serves Cornelius, Huntersville and Davidson, is set to end Monday, July 7 — replaced by CATS Micro, an on-demand shared ride service. Fare-free rides are offered from June 1 to 7 to help riders try the new system. Cornelius Today
