CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Local cultural events run from Thursday, July 10th through Sunday, July 13th with live music, outdoor movies, and art workshops set for venues in Mooresville, Huntersville, Cornelius, and Davidson—today's schedule features a live performance by Joseph Gallo at The Plaza. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On July 10, MECK Pre-K registered more than 1,830 four-year-olds for next year, a record number since the program began in 2018. Parents can visit local centers (Kid City USA in Cornelius and Cadence Academy Preschool near Kenton Place) to apply in person. Cornelius Today
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ In June, the Huntersville Town Board of Commissioners adopted the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget, which will fund public safety, infrastructure and community services. The budget has no tax increase—helping maintain the town’s low tax rate and stable fees while supporting new projects and staffing needs. City of Huntersville
