  • ➤ A new park near Huntersville Fire Station No. 4 on McIlwaine Road was named First Responders Park to honor all first responders after suggestions by Fire Chief Jim Dotoli—its design includes a splash pad, pickleball courts, playground, open lawn and themed trails.
