- ➤ Dayna Wade founded Percy's Village (a senior care home and caregiver support organization) in honor of her father (who cared for her mother with dementia). The organization now helps local caregivers in the community. WCNC

- ➤ CMS leaders are drafting a policy for artificial intelligence use in education—feedback is being gathered on how AI currently supports lesson plans and homework help. WCNC
- ➤ Charlotte-Mecklenburg School officials considered new policy guidelines for artificial intelligence use in education at Tuesday night’s Board of Education meeting, aiming to help teachers, staff, and students while protecting data. Speakers noted the risk of AI errors—known as hallucinations—and stressed the need for clear digital safety rules, with a final decision to be made at a future meeting. Queen City News
