- ➤ Yesterday, police officers and firefighters from Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville were honored by the Lake Norman Chamber at the Public Safety Luncheon held at Northstone Country Club—where nearly 100 department members and local officials gathered—to present awards to outstanding figures like Lieutenant Matthew Figaro and firefighter Kyle Graham. - ➤ Larry Sprinkle served as host at the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony—he interviewed country music star Luke Combs and his mother on the red carpet. The ceremony—held to honor top musicians—recognized contributions to the music industry. WCNC
