  • JGA Space & Defense is expanding its operations in Huntersville next year with a $25 million investment that will create around 40 new jobs. The company will begin using 60,000 square feet of modern manufacturing space in the first quarter of 2026 (a project supported by local government and economic partners).  City of Huntersville
  • Esquire recognized Seaboy restaurant in Cornelius as one of the 25 Best New Restaurants in America on Dec. 2.   • Former North Meck star Isaiah Evans hit a game-winning shot as Duke won over Florida 67 to 66 Tuesday night—he also added five blocks and 13 points in the game. The Blue Devils will travel to Michigan State on Dec. 6 with tip-off set for noon.  WBTV
