About this event
The Film Studies Department is proud to present filmmaker William D. Caballero on campus for a presentation of his Sundance Award-winning film, TheyDream.
TheyDream is a deeply personal autobiographical documentary. Caballero revisits his family’s history in Fayetteville, North Carolina—interweaving new 2D and 3D animations with live-action vérité, archival materials, and raw, deeply human conversations with his mother.
The screening will take place on Monday, November 2 at 5:30 p.m. in the Student Union Theater. The event is free and open to the public.
Immediately following the screening, Caballero will participate in a Q&A with the audience about his amazing film and his professional journey.
