- ➤ On May 28, DTFS chose Ballantyne for its North American headquarters and created 276 jobs with an investment of over $7 million (average salary above $130,000). - ➤ Andrew Sileo, a certified arborist for the Town of Davidson, will provide tree care advice in Huntersville on June 12, June 26, July 10 and July 24 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.—residents can request help with planting, pruning, and identifying tree diseases through a pilot program. - ➤ The Metropolitan Transit Commission voted May 29 to adopt a 30-year Transit System Plan that prioritizes the Better Bus program, microtransit, and rapid transit to Lake Norman.
