- ➤ Police departments across the country are reexamining the Sig Sauer P320 after a fatal discharge in Wyoming killed Airman Brayden Lovan on July 20—while the North Carolina State Highway Patrol said its troopers have not experienced any spontaneous discharges in roughly eight years of use, and Senator Mujtaba Mohammed from Mecklenburg County has raised concerns over the weapon's safety.
